基础英语/高二英语运用与写作
获得学位的前提是所有高三学生必须修完基础英语课程。所以，在教务长和英语老师讨论之后，部分学生也许得学习这门课程。通过这门课程，学生能够较为集中地学习语法、结构、语用等，并快速*通过英语写作去交流。这门课程有很大的写作量，还需要很大的词汇量，也会为学生大学写作应用做准备。
ESL/English 11: Mechanics and Composition
To earn a diploma, all 12th graders must place out of ESL. Therefore, some students may be required to take this course upon the decision of the Academic Dean in consultation with the English/ESL instructors. This course will serve as an intensive review of how to write and communicate effectively in written English with emphasis on the mechanics, grammar, and structure of the English language. There will be a lot of writing. There will be a lot of vocabulary. In addition, the class will help students prepare well for writing college application essays.
