Hi everyone,my name is Phil and I’m here at Taicang World International English.And I’d like to talk to you about books and about reading.
今天，我们的外教Phil老师要跟大家谈论阅读的话题啦，大家先猜猜看Phil老师最喜欢哪一类的书籍呢？

When we think about books,we think about two different types,either fiction or nonfiction.Fiction would be books that are not true,nonfiction would be true.And there’re different genres of books or different types of books,such as action,mystery,suspense,fantasy or my favorite science fiction.
当我们谈论到书籍的时候，一般我们都会想到两大类：小说或者非小说。小说的内容是虚构的，非小说则是纪实作品。生活中有很多不同种类的书籍，比如说武侠类，推理类，悬疑类，迷幻类和我最喜欢的科幻小说。
I really like science fiction books because I like learning about new technology and someone’s idea of the future.So I think that reading books is a good way to help you with your vocabulary.If your English level is low,you can always start with children’s books.So if you have time maybe before you go to sleep,why not read for a few minutes every night.And I think it will help your writing,your reading and just your overall English abilities.
我酷爱科幻小说是因为从中我可以了解到很多新的科技还有其他人对于未来的各种幻想。此外，读书也是拓展词汇量的好方法。如果你处于初级阶段，可以试着从看儿童书籍开始。所以如果你在每天睡前能挤出一点时间的话，为什么不读几分钟的书呢？更何况读书还能提高写作、阅读等各个方面的能力。
