越是本民族的文化底蕴深厚，越能够受到世界的尊重与认可。三十五中国际部认为学生不能没有文化“根基”，而应该通晓中国文化，并善于学习和借鉴西方文明，具有国际理解能力和文化融通能力。 国际部为学生提供了丰富的中国国学文化与艺术课程，每周半天时间开设各类民族文化与艺术选修课程，包括诗词鉴赏、国学典故、茶艺、书法、国画、话剧表演、民族舞、合唱等，用艺术提升和滋养生命，帮助学生打下深厚的中华民族的文化底蕴与培养学生强烈的民族文化认同感。
The richer the national cultural heritage a student has, the better he/she is respected and recognized by people the world over. In the International Department, we spend half a day every week on selective courses in all kinds of national cultures and arts including poetry appreciation, Chinese classic allusions, tea art, calligraphy, Chinese painting, theater performance, folk dance, and chorus etc. so as to enhance and nourish life with art and help the students lay a solid foundation of Chinese national cultural heritage and identity
